Game is OK but went in the wrong direction for me

Microsoft tells us that AOE3 only works under XP, but I got it to run under Win 2000 and it works fine. Just install using the following command line which does an administrative install: aoe3trial.exe /a I played AOE2 and loved it, but I wanted something newer and better, so I checked out AOE3. You''ll need good hardware to run it. The graphics and effects are great, but I liked AOE2 better because the game play is simpler, more strategic, and more board level than first person. I''m not sure I''ll buy the game, but I''ll try it out some more, perhaps I''ll like it in the end. I rated it a 2 because the install was a major pain, and they changed the game too much towards a 1st person view for my taste.

Wonderfull Dude

Hey dude this is the most challenging game for you and nobody can clear all the events of Age of Empire III. Hey dude I am the master of all age of empire but I have not done any mastery in this game. If this trial is so challenging so think full version will be more challenging and you cannot clear it anyway. Dude it is my favoruite game.Get its trial if you think this is a challange fasr you then get its full version and get a new challange.It runs on windows xp and vista.It is the most tough,challenging and hard game for everybody dude

It worked for me

Well it worked, I''m on WindowsXP and have a good graphics card. Also used Download Accelerator to download it. If you don''t have good hardware then don''t bother as it probably won''t work. ALSO the game friggin rocks!

Not bad for a trial.

Downloaded fine. Trial runs ok. Played both AOE I and II, vast improvement on graphics and gameplay. Rate it 7 for single player, have not tried the multiplayer functionality yet.

Nice...this game rocks...

This Game Rocks...but i cant understand this thing...DOWNLOAD ACCELERATOR MADE LIFE EASIER FOR ME...the download speed shot up to like 100-400kbps...making my download complete in like 15 minutes...and the file size is around 300-400mb..whhhhoooo...kool...

files size incorrect

the file size says 243mb but is actually mid 426mb. not a big isuus but if ur on bandwidth limited serves can be a problem

Supporting Reviever Called "Me"

Dear "Me" I could have saved a lot of time if I have read your review before trying to download this bloody file. I also downloaded it 4 times in hoping to be successful, but just waste my time and money. Someone should do something to prevent people from "scams" like this.

Don't waste your time

According to your records there were more than 400,000 downloads this week. Maybe you should advertise that there were 400,000 which did not work. Downloaded 4 times and all I receive is I/O error. This really stinks.
