What the heck''s your problem, other than you don''t know much about your opsys. Nothing''s wrong with the software, but you obviously are not running your system with admistrator priviledges...it''s a simple thing to do, unless you''re not allowed that much access by your folks? You''ll sound like a fool, if you go whining to any law enforcement about this...nothing illegal is being done.

Battlefield 2142

HMMMM it took me 13mins to download this file at 4am in the morning just to get a damn file that tells me i need to have "Adminstrator privileges to run setup". I downloaded this file from PLANETMIRROR with DAP7.0 It seams that someone is ripping people off big time and its time the FBI computer crimes was contacted about offering people False missleading infomation. It costs people not only time but money to download files from sites like these and the files have been tampered with so no one can use them. They are offered as free downloads so people can look at the game before buying it only to get ripped off making it unlawful. I for one will be contacting Computer crimes to lodge my complaint.

battle field 2142 review

first time is saw battle field i though to my self ow no you have got to be kidding me, not another battle field where things are taken out of hand and machine guns vs tanks. Well i was deeply amazed to see it wasn't like that at all, despite the Ub3r 1337 walkers. the planes are really fun. There are only a few issues with the game i dislike this is the slow browser and the slow round start ups. Amongst the moans and growns of installer errors i had no installer errors by the way. I downloaded from ea and didnt choose to install the free direct x. It may of taken 3 hours but at least it worked =) overall 8/10

Great and Fun

Great demo, though it only has one map but it has all the vehicals in it so it is still pretty enjoyable, you can't unlock anything since it is the demo it is pretty laggy if you don't got good requirments and 85% or 90% of the time you enter the titan you start to studder or lag, but once you are inside things calm down though you still get lag a little. PS:THE FULL GAME HAS A MALWARE (or spyware or adware not sure) IT IS REQUIRED TO PLAY THE GAME THOUGH IT INVADES YOUR PRIVACY FOR SOME EUROPEAN COMPANY. (this has been proven and there is a paper in the box as proof, I hope this thing will end and I can actually install the game with no worries)

2142 Thoughts

To you guys who bleat "Just buy the game".. The whole point in downloading a DEMO is to TRY THE GAME FIRST. Why buy without being able a chance to try it out first. Am well happy at being able to try a demo, that''s the whole point isn''t it?

first all lets get it straight ther aint such thing as computer crimes...!and second of all like a say to all the others who complain ther are fucking idiots..! ther moms are Ho's that cant afford a half decent computer for the kid's...the only reason they complain is because they have shit computers and dont have a clue how to use a pc..first things first download the game wich takes like 14 minz or so then open the exe.file//DAP.mainfraim and then just install it wich takes like 4 seconds literally. But if you have a shit computer that cant even play counter strike..DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT !!! guys we are moving up in the world wich mean better games are been brout out wich also means you need a real good computer like mine =) thx for hearing me out =)

Ustedes y sus putos juegos son una mierda vayanse a la remilputa que los pario donde espero se los coma un Jabali o algun otro animal salvaje... Porque no agarran sus juegos pedorros y los usan para limpiarse el culo cuando van al baÃ±o!! Hasta mi perro hace cagadas mejores que este juego!!! ESPERO QUE PIENSEN LO QUE LES DIGO PORQUE ASI NOS VAMOS A IR DE ACA!! Mejor comprar jueguitos en una libreria porque aca los juegos se parecen mucho al vomito (Por lo que apesta.) Bueno eso les queria decir disculpen la molestia Chau (Y ESPERO QUE SE VAYAN A LA REMIL PUTA QUE LOS PARIO!!!!)

Install does not work!

I downloaded it 2 times and both the install files did not work! Then made not te smae errors so its not a problem of my computer.

Kind of boring

Well the demo cant be installed without downloading specific files for direct_x. and when youve done that and start upp and get into the game its quite boring and stiff. bad control and laggy gameplay. im a fan of the series but this is just about the money and a really crappy game.
