LimeWire is a file sharing utility

LimeWire is a file sharing utility. Basically it some good features and uses. But it's supported by a ton of ads. However, the speed of the downloads was pretty good. I especially like the new user interface. However, I decided to stick with Kazaa Lite.

The best one - for now

G2 is a much more advanced network then Gnutella that LimeWire runs on. GO USE MORPHEUS AND SHAREAZA

Limewire f*cks up your computer

If you use it for 5 minutes, say goodbye to your computer. Even with scanning numerous times with AVG, PCTools, Spybot, etc., I couldn't cure my computer with the plague of Limewire.

No complaints

I tried a couple of other p2p sites, including Kazaa. They were all difficult to use and no better than what is available free through Limewire. I suppose the available files could be more extensive, but I've managed to find everything I was interested in. Recommended without qualification.

Opens your computer to the world

People should be aware e viruses that this is a link from the home PC to anyone that install LW, and as the man said its a bunch of crap you let in all the viruses as you have an open connection.

ad wear king

lime wire puts a bunch of garbag and ad wear on ur computer if u try to uninstall it you get a pop up every time u restart ur cpmputer or log it. try Imesh its way better

Best p2p/file sharing client

Its free and its fast(though it has slowed down recently). Its a lot better than kazaa or bearshare etc. great chances of finding a file you look for on the network
