One again, Apple did only half of the job.

Yes, Quicktime DOES support H.264 video, but NO, it does NOT utilize Hardware Video Overlay when playing the video. The picture would be worth watching if it did. Compare how H.264 video looks between Quicktime and GOM Player, and you''ll never go back to Quicktime. Yes, Quicktime DOES support LC-AAC Audio, but NO, it does NOT support HE-AAC. If you heard how good HE-AAC sounds on Winamp (even at extremely low bitrates), you''ll never go back to Quicktime. Over the years, I''ve become tired of Quicktime being an example of Apple getting the job only half done.
