This software creates crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, word-definition match puzzles, vocabulary quizzes, and vocabulary lists. The software creates them from word list files. You can create your own word list files by entering words and definitions or use the word list of approximately 500 words (WORDS.DAT) which is included with the software. The puzzles and quizzes which Word Puzzler generates can be used by children to improve their vocabulary and spelling skills. Since you can enter your own list of words, it is especially helpful with vocabulary and spelling lists assigned at school. It can also be used with foreign languages. This software uses the same word list file format as A2ZWare's A2Z Hangman and Flash 'n Bingo programs, so you can enter vocabulary lists and use them with Word Puzzler, Flash 'n Bingo, or A2Z Hangman.

A great free software

WinPatrol 7.0.1 uses a simple yet effective method of fighting dangerous programs. It inspects several spots in the Windows system that malware is most likely to alter, including programs launched at start-up, browser helper objects, scheduled tasks, services, and cookies. WinPatrol consumes few resources and doesn't slow your PC. You can set the interval between checkups; the default is every three minutes. If something new installs on your PC, the program notifies you and asks whether you want the newcomer. You can view full reports in HTML format. Users who install a lot of new software will find the program invaluable.

Great protection

Winpatrol's cheery mascot, Scotty the Windows Watch Dog, can sniff out worms, adware, spyware, cookies and Trojan horses and is particularly effective in foiling those annoying BHOs (Browser Help Objects) such as the insidious toolbars and other annoying programs that can install themselves unnoticed. It will also help you identify and control what programs are running on your system and alert you if anything new tries to install itself.

Watch Out or You Might Delete Important Stuff!

This application was easy to download and install. The panels kind of remind me of msconfg the Windows System Utility in format and overall looks. However, this device should be used with care and by experienced PC users only because with the touch of a button you can delete registry entries. Not good for most users because you can screw you machine up good by removing registry entries. Dumped it after trying it for awhile.

WinPatrol Ad Remover

I have had startup problems for some time now. I run Win98se. I would get hang ups all the time during the boot up. After running this program I have no troubles and get logged on much faster !

spyware remover and a few other options as well

not very useful, limited to as what you can with the trial version. features a lot of options such as proctection against trojans and other bugs, not just spywares

Win Patrol v8.1.2.0

Very easy to use and works well with other programs. A good aspect of support for securing your PC a little more.
