Description:

At dawn of May 13th 2002 a guy called Merkur was dissatisfied with the original eDonkey2000 client and was convinced he could do better. So he did. He gathered other developers around him, and eMule Project was born. Their aim was to put the client back on track where eDonkey had been famous before, adding tons of new features and a nice GUI. They couldn't imagine what impact this decision would have... As of today, eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world. Thanks to it's open source policy many developers are able to contribute to the project, making the network more efficient with each release.

Don't let your kids write jiberish on fileratings....

i have noticed that allot of reviews have just random typing (slapping keyboard) and have been saying it has been usefull! How is this usefull? does it mean that it is appealing to little kids that dont know what they are doing so they just click things "Yay, I clicked submit!" says one kid. Adult comes in and says, "What are you doing thats bad time out for you." Kid says, "Ok I wont do it again i promise...." Please dont let kids under 15 on fileratings.com

Very good but...

... if you dont have international downloads, youll end up paying. I recomend the eMule Bowlfish because it makes international downloads nacional downloads. Sometimes the download freezes and very often, the file you have been your entire life waiting has got viruses. Besides, the download is very slow. For me its less than 10kB/s!

tired of emule...

I would recomand bittorent software usually they are much faster, the download proccess does not pause - like in emule - and you can select to download only part of the files of you don''t want the whole packege.
