At dawn of May 13th 2002 a guy called Merkur was dissatisfied with the original eDonkey2000 client and was convinced he could do better. So he did. He gathered other developers around him, and eMule Project was born. Their aim was to put the client back on track where eDonkey had been famous before, adding tons of new features and a nice GUI. They couldn't imagine what impact this decision would have... As of today, eMule is one of the biggest and most reliable peer-to-peer file sharing clients around the world. Thanks to it's open source policy many developers are able to contribute to the project, making the network more efficient with each release.

New Version .47c not as good as .47a

Okay- here''s my opinion. I have been using Emule for about 6 months. I started off using Version .47a and it worked GREAT for downloading MUSIC. I just got a DVD burner for X-mas and decided to try downloading MOVIES from Emule. I downloaded the brand new version of Emule .47c and tried my first movie- it took me about 3 DAYS to get it- and it was of poor quality. I am sure that not all the movies on there are bad, but its just been my recent experience in downloading movies from EMULE that it sucks. But for music, it is just perfect!! I get songs in about 5-10 minutes. I think they should come up with a BETTER progress bar also- I am never sure what percentage I have obtained of the movie until I finally have it. I wish I could see my progress!

emule users

in my opinion e mule is a great software but like any other sharing software u must know what u are doing. and how to use it. as for kyla if u look in the emule properties u can find an option to see the percentege on the progress bar and if u know what files to download according to sources format and avilability u will get the best quality at the fastest time. read about it more on the net u will like it a lot . its serving millions of users for the last 5-7 years and it is awasome or as we say legen....hold it.....dery. alles klar?

Best eDonkey application around!

It seems the world is moving to Bittorrent, and rightfully so... But if you still want to use the eDonkey network (some files can''t be found on bittorrent), eMule is the best application you can find! decent search tools and customization, it will get te file you wants more often than not. easy to install and to uninstall...

EMULE 0.47 AMAZING AND GOOD SEARCHING

Gyes it's incredible.all you have to do is to open the ports go to connections and see what your ports are and find in google instructions to how you open the ports

EMULE NOT GOOD

seeing comments here, i downloaded Emule. But it is the worst P2P software cause i could not download Anything from EMULE.. Dont use it ;(
